Villa Nagu sits high on a hill in the Turku archipelago, an hour and a ferry ride from the mainland, looking out over the sea through floor-to-ceiling glass.
It's a place for being together, unhurried. Morning coffee on the terrace that drifts into a long, lazy brunch. Afternoons where some settle in with a book while the more active paddleboard out across the water. Evenings gathered around the fire as the light lingers late into the night. By the time you've crossed the water, the week you left behind already feels a long way off.

The Villa
Designed by architect Sigvard Eklund in the 1970s and lovingly restored, Villa Nagu is a design lover's dream - dark, earthy tones, natural wood and stone, and walls given over to windows rather than things. The whole sea-facing wall is glass, so the light and the water are with you wherever you are. There's an open kitchen and living room around the original fireplace, two comfortable bedrooms, and a bathroom with a sauna that looks straight out to the sea. For larger groups, a separate lakeside cabin adds more room to spread out.
The Setting
Villa Nagu stands on 50,000 square metres of private land, with its own stretch of shore and true seclusion - no passing traffic, no near neighbours, just pine forest and open water. You can swim, kayak, fish, forage in the woods, or simply sit and watch the sea change through the day. The village of Nagu, with its restaurants and harbour, is a short walk away when you want it, and the wider archipelago of three thousand islands is yours to explore. But mostly, this is a place to stay put, and let the quiet do its work.
