The Mirror

Somewhere this remote, your shoulders finally drop and time slows right down. The Mirror is for anyone who needs to be completely away from everything for a while.

Some places make the rest of the world go quiet.
The Mirror is one of them.

A mirrored cabin set into the wild landscape of Aure on the Norwegian coast, it reflects the trees, the water and the changing sky so completely that it almost disappears, leaving nothing between you and the nature all around you.

There are no neighbours here. No noise, no rush, nothing asked of you. Just stillness, space, and the particular kind of quiet you only find this far north.

The Cabin

Inside, the cabin is warm and pared back - a comfortable bed positioned to wake up to the view, large windows that bring the landscape right in, and everything you need and nothing you don't. Outside, a hot tub sits looking out over the water, best enjoyed slowly, under an open sky that shifts through extraordinary colours as the evening comes in. It's a place designed to do one thing: let you stop.

The Setting

The Mirror sits in genuine wilderness on the coast at Aure, surrounded by mountains, water and forest, far enough from everything that the world properly recedes. You can swim, walk, soak in the hot tub, or simply sit and watch the light move across the landscape. Days here are measured in still water, open sky and the long northern light.
