Son Estiu
Held between the mountains and the sea in Port de Sóller, Mallorca, Son Estiu is somewhere to exhale. For anyone who needs to slow right down in a place where peace meets beauty.
There's a particular kind of ease that comes from a house built in harmony with its landscape.
Son Estiu sits in the hills above Port de Sóller, on Mallorca's north-west coast, where the Serra de Tramuntana meets the Mediterranean and the light softens everything it touches.
Recently and carefully restored, it's a place made for retreat and for gathering in equal measure. Long mornings by the pool, slow lunches under the porch, evenings that stretch out as the sun drops behind the mountains. Somewhere to rest, and to be present, in one of the loveliest corners of the island.

The House
Son Estiu has been restored with natural materials that keep it calm and cool, with lime-painted walls, limestone floors, and airy, light-filled rooms that open straight out to the terraces and pool. The main house holds two bedrooms, and a bright living and dining space with an open kitchen and a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. Below, tucked into the garden, an independent Garden Master Suite has its own sitting room, bathroom and a private terrace with an outdoor shower - a quiet retreat within the retreat, for whoever wants a little more seclusion.
The Setting
Outside is where the days unfold. A saltwater pool sits at the heart of the garden, with loungers, a shaded chill-out area, and a wooden porch made for long dinners under the stars. All around, the Tramuntana mountains and the Mediterranean frame the house, with breathtaking sunsets most evenings. The picturesque port of Sóller is in strolling distance whenever you want it, with beaches, seaside walks and local restaurants. Son Estiu really is a place to settle into, and let the Mediterranean pace take over.
