Present Tense is a small collection of places to rest, chosen for how they make people feel rather than how they photograph. every property was found and chosen personally, and the collection grows slowly because the criteria are narrow. you can read more about the story behind the platform and what we look for here.

Listing is free. there's no commission, and guests book directly with you through your own site.

I write the listing copy myself, in the same voice as the rest of the collection, and I'll always send it to you before it goes live. When a property joins, I make an Instagram post to introduce it, shared to both our accounts.
