A mirrored glass cabin set on the bank of a wild swimming lake in the Sussex countryside, it disappears into its surroundings so completely that you feel almost part of the landscape.
This is a place to slow all the way down. To swim before breakfast, sit in the sauna as the light moves across the lake, and let the noise of everything else fall away.
Some places make the rest of the world feel very far away. ÖÖD House is one of them.

The Cabin
The ÖÖD House is mirrored on the outside and entirely glass within, so from your bed you feel as though you're sleeping in the lake itself, with the wildlife and nature living all around you. Inside it's quietly luxurious: a deeply comfortable bed, a huge rain shower, blackout blinds, cotton robes, and everything you need for complete comfort in the wilderness. There are yoga mats, binoculars and a wildlife diary, should you want them. Mostly, there is just stillness, and the changing light through the glass.
The Setting
The cabin sits on its own stretch of the lake, with a private jetty, a wood-fired hot tub and a secluded garden enclosed for privacy. Beyond it lies Lime Cross - ancient woodland, gardens, a vineyard, and a scattering of animals to meet along the way. You can move between the cold of the lake and the heat of the hot tub, walk to a local vineyard for tastings, or simply stay exactly where you are. The choice, for once, is entirely yours.
